I can only speak for me. There are only so many hours in a day and months in a
year. I attend puppy class and handling class w/ babies I am going to show.
Bitches in particular, I want then finished and to have a litter in their third
year because I have learned (the hard way by having not one but two bitch CHs
have only one litter because I waited) not to keep them out too long, special
and postpone the first litter.

not American bred and/or bred by some of our top breeders. As Stormy said,
many have German sounding names. In last month's Review where performance dogs
were showcased, I recognized few names. Sad. Just like in conformation: I
recognize few German dogs among our champions. The schism between "types" is
still there, unfortunately. Wish I knew the answer.
