Also, the amateur futurity/ maturity is an added expense of time and moneyfor
the national. For what ? There are very few entries; the win is next to
meaningless.It would suffice to, as Carolyn states, just make it a class in the
regular futurities.If "getting wood" is the prime aim of a breeder, we have a
serious problem, orshould I say another serious problem.

What I do NOT understand is why Clubs will be forced to host an Amateur
Futurity??
How can that be forced on a Club when that is extra time, workers, and expense

a hosting Club??
I've never understood why we couldn't just insert an Amateur CLASS in the
Futurity
and an Amateur CLASS in the Maturity and that's IT. Too Simple??
No age specifications....just an extra class. No extra judge, or show, or
expense or
extra time and no complicated hardship on a Club......just one extra class for
Fut / Mat.
for Amateurs with no Professional handlers......no matter WHO owns the
dog. Simple!!
If you win......you compete in winners with all the others. Please, not
have Clubs have
to put on a whole extra show ...........

the amateur futurity is a requirement for the future futurities. Who voted
on that? I have yet to
talk to anyone except one person who wanted to even keep it.
With it being required, I do wonder what clubs want to host a futurity?
Also, I bought an extra Select ribbon from Magic Marker to her co-owner. Do
we need to
spend $60.00 for each ribbon?
