I do not believe the Friday night function is an exclusive function. I
was involved with several visits to the hotel and it was known that the
maximum number of people that could be accommodated there was around 300. As
with any function where seating is limited, tickets must be obtained in
advance and on a first come first serve basis. The tickets were free so no
one
was denied a ticket because they couldn't afford it.

Dear fellow members, I donated $3000 towards the Friday night function for
the Centennial. I objected to it being an exclusive function. I have now
been told that all the tickets ( 300) are gone. not sure how many are for
DIGNITARIES. I am sure that many of you do not have a ticket. I am deeply
disappointed with the situation. Although I have blown allot of my budget for
the year with the donation to Friday night, I will make some arrangements
to provide food ring side Friday night for those left out by the Centennial
Committee. The club belongs to the members not dignitaries. It will not
be up to prior standards but will allow those wanting to work their dogs to
eat and keep on working. Kris
