Jeff, My deadline is typically a week before publication, which I try to have done by the Monday prior to the meeting. I am, however rather flexible on this. If I know something's coming and have an idea of how much space it'll take up, I can work around it. I have no preference on subject matter. I'll leave that choice to you. I sure it will be relevant & interesting. What is your deadline? Do you have any preference for the first article? The theta Orioins project is ongoing and we plan more observations in January to look for the secondary eclipse and also again in February for the primary again.
