Doug,

The rules for merging notices are clear.

K W and Kenneth Gordon can't be considered the same person.

Different dates mean separate entries.

There are clearly mistakes in some (maybe all) of these notices, and we have no way of knowing what is right and what is wrong. So index all the facts and let researchers sort it out.
