[ryerson_index] Multiple Notices, details differ

Four Notices (too many to attach.)

Notice No. 1:

PETTERSEN, K.W. (Gus) died 18 January, born 15/8/1927 (age 89)

Putting together 3 other notices, he is 

PETTERSEN, Kenneth Gordon (Gordon) (Gus), died 17 January.

Since the first notice has an incorrect initial, should I discard the
date of death it gives, as well, and prefer the 17th?  That date is in
only one notice, apparently from his sister, but the first one
matches the funeral notice and lists the entire family. Age is given
elsewhere as 89 years.
