For the Rollei community out there, if you've ever been looking for a
Rolleiflex 2.8C, I'm offering one of prized babies with a boat load of
accessories. Camera is very clean inside and out. Shutter is accurate
through out, focus silk smooth, ground glass although stock, with the
cleaning and polishing gave it 1.5 stop increase brightness.....and it's been
a very solid performer both in the studio and outdoors. Need any other
photo's and have any other concerns please ask....It has been CLA'd with
Bill at Pro Camera ( one of the best film and Rollei repair man in the
country) in VA just 2 months ago.($250 cost), to include;
- cleaned and polished the ground glass
- undated the PC connection
- adjusted all shutter speeds
- checked focus
- film transport registers film spacing accurately
For the minor issues;
- there is a pencil dot dent on the rear edge along the chrome trim.....
- the taking lens has less then a .5mm scratch which is even hard to see at
a certain angle can it been seen
- A few dust speckled in taking lens ( absolutely no impact on
image quality )
- The rolleimeter case has a broken sipper and dry leather....
The accessories are;
- 3rd party lens shade ( prefer over the stock one as it's a little deep
)
- Lens caps is a 3rd party
- Omax all glass black and white filters ( much more contrast then stock
ones, better with modern day film which has less silver+ less contrast)
- 35mm Rolleikin kit complete with the 3 screws, as new leather case
- Rollei strap in excellent condition
- Exceptional clean rangefinder, indispensable for quick accurate focus
even in low light. Already dialed in
- Very clean pistol grip dialed in for this cameras shutter.
