Thank you very much for your opinion Peter. You are
right however I don't think it could be the solution
for me at the moment. I bought this 283 like new,
working perfect and very cheap. The variable power is
interesting i.e. to handle the distance to fill an
exposure with natural light, but most situations you
can handle using the 283 four automatic modes or the
manual mode and then I can wait till July to buy the
variable power unit for the 283, it's cheap
considering the amount I payed for the 283. Anyway I
could change my opinion if some good chance for the
285 appears, thanks again.-
