I had a 6002 years ago - now have 6006 and 6008. I cannot remember why, but I
disassembled the 6002 film back to access the counter mechanism. The gear drive
on the camera turns the gear drive in the film holder, so the film is in effect
a direct drive from the camera itself. The film turns a roller as it is
transported which in turn rotates a worm wheel which turns the frame counter
disk. The film wind distance is controlled by a circular stepped contact disk
which is attached to the counter disk. There are sprung contact fingers through
which the connection to the motor is made or broken according to the steps on
the disk. The signal is transferred from camera to back through the stud
contacts on the film back and camera body.
if the feeler roller is free to rotate, I suspect that the stepped copper disk
has become oxidised/dirty and so each step will make and break contact at an
unpredictable point on its circumference causing erratic spacing. It would be
interesting to see if the spacing for each frame number is the same from film
to frame or totally erratic. Also, does the film stop with the film counter
pointer aligned at a similar position for each frame number. If the pointer
aligns erratically either side of centre of the numeral then this will show
that the counter is giving different spacings.
It is fairly simple to access the counter mechanism beneath the pressure plate
for anyone who is competent with a screwdriver, a pair of tweezers and who has
patience!

I just picked up my first test film through the 6006. I use
Rollei CR200 slide film. The frame spacing is very poor. In the worst
case there is 16mm of overlap between two frames. Looking at the
sensing roller it seems to be clean and to turn without much effort.
Does anyone have a hint what to look for / check to improve this?
Thank you,
