The 6000 magazines measure the film as it travels past the pressure
plate. The bright chrome roller does this.

Rollei 6000 magazines and e.g. the Rolleiflex GX (and T?) don't do
that, they have a pre-programmed travel they allow for each
particular frame. So if on these cameras the spacing is erratic, this
is again a matter for service. If the spacing just gets slightly
longer or shorter frame after frame, this is due to the different
combined thickness of backing paper and film of the different film
brands.

my magazine. Since that time that problem never occurred again.
Therefore it is a problem that can be solved by a service workshop.
Looking on my contact sheets I realized that the spacing distance
varies with the tendency to widen at the end of the roll. After all
this is a rather cosmetic issue to me.
