BTW, the way Google obtains the images for the street views is using a van with
four cameras taking 360º photographs, they are true street photographs. Google
Earth uses images from satellites and some layers are individual photographs
uploaded by users.
Google vans had Google symbols initially, however they received people
complaints and they no longer use something to be indentified, anyway the
Google maps service is impressive, yesterday Google Maps added some main
Spaniard cities to the street level view and they will incorporate other
countries and cities slowly due to the way the photographs are taken.-
