Thank you for the info Carlos.
In fact the book from John Phillips does not refer any of these cap variations.

The prrewar Rolleiflex Automat first or second model (it does not
have bayonet for the viewing lens) shown by Peter also used the lens cap with
FH and Carl Zeiss Jena logo, this is another sample from Germany:

The original _6x6_ Rolleiflex used two different lens caps, one of them with
the Carl Zeiss Jena logo, similar regarding the lens caps for F&H Stereo
cameras; you can see the samples and the comment almost at the end fo this page:

Nice images about your cameras BTW.

Hi,
I am new in posting in this list.
You can find the description of all Rolleiflex caps in John Phillips book (the
Classic Rollei).
The one you describe yes it is only for the Rolleiflex Old Standard (1932-38).
The only other cap that has engraved the Carl Zeiss Jena logo is the one for
the original Rolleiflex 4x4 (1931-1938).
I have both cameras working, but lack both caps!

Thank you, Carlos! I too have several rigid lens caps; however, none that
mention Carl Zeiss and/or Jena as well as F&H. Mine all say "Rollei". In
prior, more frivolous years, I would be purchasing the camera solely for the
cap! Thankfully, I am now at the very beginnings of maturity. Peter

Interesting image Peter, they are prewar metal lens caps for Rollei TLR
cameras, they became a rare item today. This is an example for a Rolleiflex
Standard with F&H logo for the viewing lens and Carl Zeiss Jena logo for the
taking lens:

The knowm Rollei TLR foldable lens cap was made from about 1949 for Rolleiflex
cameras, Rolleicord cameras used a rigid metal lens cap up to about the
Rolleicord Va model, when they received a plastic lens cap. My Rolleicord IV
from 1954 has an original rigid metal lens cap with the word ROLLEI on the
viewing lens and there are no words or logo for the taking lens, this lens cap
model was also used for Rolleiflex cameras from about 1939 to 1949:

I came across this fleabay listing and note that I've never seen a F&H / Carl
Zeiss Jena lenscap. This is a new one for me.
