when I bought my Rolleiflex 6008 professional in 2010 it needed new NiCad cells
and a CLA. I have noticed that theses NiCad cells discharge in roughly three
months time. To be on the safe side, I fully charged the batteries before a
photo shooting and never lost a photo. In 2014 I bought a new NiMH battery
(1.25A 10V slow acting) and used it with my 6008 without any problems.
Therefore maybe the cause of your problem with the NiMH battery is rather the
camera and not the battery.

At the moment I have two NiCd packs which still hold enough charge for what I
want but I have to make sure they are charged two or three days before I want
them; they do no hold a full charge for more than a week or so.
The NiMh packs work fine in my 6006 but not in my 6008. I can only think it
is the extra power of the motor in the 6008 (1.25A as compared to 1A in the
6006) which causes the problem. Possibly it is an adjustment issue in my
camera or maybe the motor in my camera has a fault and requires more current
to operate it. I will try to use the slow setting from my Master Control Unit
and see if that makes any difference.
I will also contact the factory and ask them if there is a problem with my
6008.

guarantees that they don's damage the cameras circuits. Wiese Fototechnik is
a small but well qualified firm with four engineers that have done product
development and custom built solutions in the past. They have received
trainings by Leica, Zeiss, Sinar, Rollei, Rolleimetric, Tokina and Jenoptik
