A friend scans his negatives, photoshops the image, prints to disc, sends the
digital file out to a company that makes a negative to size. He then makes
platinum prints. Gorgeous results. World class!!
His silver prints done the same way without he plantinum are wonderful as well.
It seems he gets the control that photoshop offers and the benefit that regular
printing provides.
