When it comes to repairs, I am lucky. There is a man, young man, who took over
the activities, or at least the tools, from someone who retired. I don't know
the details of that, but I know that he knows his stuff. I've sent two
Rolleicords, a Rolleiflex, a couple of Leicas and a couple of lenses to him
with very good results.
But there aren't many and even though Sweden is a small country, he is kept
busy, very busy.
I use my Rolleis, but not all of them anymore. The ones that get the most
attention are the Rolleiflex 3.5E and the Rolleicords (V, Vb, and IV). The
Ikoflex I picked up from the repairman above gets a good amount of use too. I
probably prefer the Rolleicords and the Ikoflex; mostly because of the lenses.
The flex is just fine, but heavy.
But it goes in spurts. I have grandchildren that take up my time. A few rolls a
month (when we have light; not so much in the winter) get processes. They get
used more than the Leicas or Nikons. 12 exposures is just about right for me.
Sanders does great work with whatever he picks up.

The only Rollei of mine that is ‘down’ is a nice Rollei 16. I have not
bought it for photography and using 16 mm film without a cartridge is
possible but not that easy.
Would you mind reporting to the List when Paul Ebel did not answer your
e-mails? I have Paul on my ‘list of repair shops for Rollei cameras’. Last
time he contacted me was January 2020.
Fortunately we have one reliable repairer left over here and then Germany
with more repair shops is close by.
