Pray, do not sound like a fool.
The Zeiss Foundation makes a LOT of money but this is produced by the
medical, industrial, military, and scientific side of the house, along with
those vast sales of sports optics. I doubt that Zeiss has ever made any
money from camera lenses. They might well choose to produce a given run of
camera lenses when the public persona would be proper but then, I cannot
recall a time when Zeiss and Corprate Common Sense have had much do do with
each other. Let's talk about just what they ought to have done with the
Prewar Contax ...
