Yes Richard, those post-war boxes from the F&H era were made from heavy
cardboard and art-decò motifs. I still have the original box for the 2,8C
Rolleiflash my father bought with the camera, it's in good condition and
the flash too, at least it looks very good, I never used it, I need to buy
some bulb lamps. The boxes were very simplified duing the Rollei-Werke F&H
eram they look similar about the light bright cardboard, the grey color and
the letters, however boxes for the "special editions" cameras could look
different. I have the SL35 E original box is similar regarding the boxes
for other Rollei cameras from that time.-

My original Rolleicord IV box disappeared decades ago but it was heavy
cardboard with a slide off top finished in red and gold. The camera was in
its case inside the box. This was bought new when I was still in
highschool. The box got lost in some move. This was much earlier than the
Rollei 35 mm cameras so was likely different.
