This probably is the Rollei product order number.
corner of the box that it indicates “made in Germany“ but with this guarantee
that the camera was made in Germany also?
Has your friend made any photographs of the interior of the camera? "Made in
Germany" cameras have European style slotted screws. The Singapore cameras have
'cross-head' (Phillips?) screws. Off course it is possible to replace all
visible screws but they will have to come from an original M.i.G. camera, so
what would be the point?

to me, as I thought that they all started with a 3 if they were made in
Germany. Also, can anybody tell me what the numbers mean that are checked
off on the box (970 465)? You can see on the corner of the box that it
indicates “made in Germany“ but with this guarantee that the camera was made
in Germany also? This photo was sent to me by a friend who lives in a
different state, but keep his eye out for cameras for me.
