Congratulations for your Jersey GX John, it looks a very nice camera. Most
Rollei "special edition" cameras from any era have dedicated serial numbers
and the GX special editions are not the exception. Another sample, the GX
Gold Expression '94, SN 01/33 up to 33/33; GX Japan edition SN 001/130 up
to 130/130, etcetera.

Carlos, I have a Jersey camera, I have never used it!
Interestingly, I think that the Jersey serial numbers are preceded by a
letter, so C110; F100; etc. The cameras I have seen do not have 1,2,3, etc
in their serial numbers. Everybody feels they have a special serial number
because of this. I do not know if that applies to other special edition GX
cameras.

We mentioned the same page. I think the sequence is
correct, however the blue and grey boxes were also used by Rollei Werke F&H
before the silver boxes (I wrote "bright grey"...) .The boxes for the TLR
were the same up to the Rollei Wereke F&H bankruptcy. The Rolleiflex 2,8 GX
Jersey edition came with the old box design and a the label "Jersey; The
Rolleiflex 2,8 GX "80th anniversary" came with a similar box,. it was made
with heavy cardboard and art-decò motififs, but the background was blue.
