Maybe time for clarification...many pre-Trillium Rodgers organs have Voice Palette, too. I think this depends on the particular model, whether it has a B or other suffix in the model number, and also its serial number...my 835B (pre-Trillium) has 20 Voice Palette stops, two of them make three different sounds, the rest make two. Those in the market for a used Rodgers should bear this in mind...it doesn't have to be a Trillium to have Voice Palette. Now regarding resetting these stops to their "as labeled" sounds...maybe this depends on the model/serial number, too. My owners manual is no help here, strangely silent. Noel Jones/Dan Miller says hold Cancel and push Set...my dealer says the opposite, hold Set and push Cancel. The owners manual DOES say to hold Set, then push AND HOLD Cancel for a few seconds IF you are in an audio menu AND you want to save your audio settings so they won't revert to whatever when you shut off the organ. (Audio settings are things like reverb, inputs, outputs, volume, etc., has nothing to do with Voice Palette.) Alternate/Plan B Reset Method...suggested by my dealer and Noel Jones previously, I think... make sure all your Voice Palette stops are set "as labeled," then put them on a General piston. Avoids having to hold and push two buttons, one will do...also enables rapid reset if necessary during performance...hit that piston, everything resets, then pull stops manually or hit another piston, bing bing.
