Let's keep the speculation to a minimum. No sense in feeding into the media
maelstrom.
All we know is what the media have reported, which, as anyone who's ever
had any connection to the media will tell you, is usually completely
overblown and full of half-truths and outright lies and speculation.
I recognize the name as a flyer I have seen before. Based solely on that,
I'm guessing that the materials they found are simply rocket motors being
actively mis-classified by the authorities and/or the media. It would
definitely not be the first time the government lied about rocket motors
(remember the ATF lawsuit we won?).
For now, let's just avoid speculation, and keep from feeding the media
beast in the interim, until the facts come out.

The news this morning is reporting that Stephen Beal has been arrested
in Long Beach in connection with the potential bombing in Aliso Viejo.
According to neighbors, he is a known rocketeer...
The are charging him (apparently, and perhaps as a means of applying
pressure) with possession of an explosive device (and they're also
taking pains to point out that this is not in connection with the
bombing) - which could conceivably be an Estes A3-4T, from how it is
said that prosecutors operate...
