Very astute advice Troy, I’m surprised that you didn’t weigh in on the
discussion about spring type relays. If memory serves you are an expert.

Jason, I don’t know if I would trust the opinions of these noobs. Sounds to
me like they are a little CATO-happy. I think you should open her up and
re-grease those fittings, threads, grains (inside and out), and ejection well
with coconut oil, flip the grains over when you reinstall to prevent the
oxidizer from settling, when you re-tighten everything make sure you can’t
see any threads no matter how over-tight you think it may be. Then come
launch time, always tilt your rail into the wind and don’t put the igniter in
too deep - like maybe an inch and a half - so it lights the fuel at the
bottom (fire burns up, ya know). Hope these “actual” tips help.

Agree 100% with Wedge, here. Do you ever disassemble your plumbing fixtures
to re-grease the O-rings in your faucets?

I question the desire/need to degrease. Greasing the o-rings allows the
closures to be tightened.
Since your closures are already tight, leave them alone. The grease did
its job the first time.

I have had a few 75mm Aerotech motors loaded since January of 2020 - one
is a K and the other is an L. Now that we have a launch opportunity,
I’m curious if these motors are safe to launch. I plan to open the
motors and re-grease the O-rings - do folks have any experience with
motors packed for a long time prior to launch?
Thanks,
Jason
