Jason, I don’t know if I would trust the opinions of these noobs. Sounds to me
like they are a little CATO-happy. I think you should open her up and re-grease
those fittings, threads, grains (inside and out), and ejection well with
coconut oil, flip the grains over when you reinstall to prevent the oxidizer
from settling, when you re-tighten everything make sure you can’t see any
threads no matter how over-tight you think it may be. Then come launch time,
always tilt your rail into the wind and don’t put the igniter in too deep -
like maybe an inch and a half - so it lights the fuel at the bottom (fire burns
up, ya know). Hope these “actual” tips help.
