[retroforth] startup problem

Hello,
i just wantet to give retroforth a try, but cannot even start it
(windows version).
When I try to launch I get a windows message box telling me that the
file RF.DLL cannot be started. The file ist in the same directory as
rf.exe
rf-standalone crashes with an access to an invalid page.
Any hints what could be wrong?
