Hey Ramy,That sounds fine. But again, I'd just want to make sure that folks know you offer instruction in voice and piano as well.

I think the idea behind the suggestion is because you're doingtwo very different things when you have a recording studio and teach too. Soyou want both services to be obvious when people hear the name. I'd considerhow people are going to discover your business. Will it be on the internet? Will it be by a sign on the building? Will it be by an ad in a newspaper ormagazine? All of these could include a sub-title. When you say Ramy'sRecords I think of a record store. Maybe it's a difference in our language, but I'd use Ramy's Recording or Recording Retreat. But I'd then include a sub-title on your sign, web page, etc. recording studio, piano and voice instruction. If you used The Music Factory I'd do the same thing to tell people exactly what's available at the music factory. Something like: The Music Factory, recording studio, piano and voice instruction. But hey, why not. Think big. And toning it down a bit was why I thought of The Little Conservatory. I know the word you're looking for regarding similar beginingsto words, but it eludes me at the moment. If it's out in the country then, well, how about The Country Conservatory? Let's see. Add a coffee shop andcall it Coffee at the Conservatory. ha! For the high browe folks it would have to be the Cognitive Conservatory of Music. And if Ramys a tough taskmaster then it would be the Cold-blooded Conservatory or the Conservatory of Condemnation. heh! But seriously now. You might want to think of your location. Like The County Durham Conservatory. Or maybe think of a common bird, flower, or tree, such as The Conifer Conservatory of Music. And if vocals are your main thing, then perhaps something like The Choral Conservatory. Hope this ggets the creative juices flowing. Tom----- Original Message -----I like that word Tom, sounds so learned and high brow 'grin'. Now if we could come up with another word that goes with music that startswith c, I know I'm hung up on what's the term used for words strung together that start with the same consanant? But the creative conservatory is probably too corny 'grin'. Well, if sweet water can call their machines creation stations, I guess wecould say Ramy's creation conservatory, that doesn't sound bad. Hmmmm, what's another hip word that begins with c? Oh, this mangled, bastardized english language, so inadequate to express what we really want to say 'grin'? That's a name of a school for the fine arts. Something like Ramy's Conservatory, The Little Conservatory, Moustafa's Conservatory of Music? You could also substitute the name of the city you live in. For instance,I live in Charlton. So I might call it The Charlton Conservatory or The Charlton Conservatory of Music.Over here we tend to associate a conservatory with a university. But whatthe heck. Think big! smile. Or, let it be known in the name, like The Little Conservatory. Now, onto the name. What exactly do you mean when you say you'll be teaching harmony? Vocal harmony or just harmoney theory in general? If it were just piano the names are endless. I'm just trying to think of something that will cover what you offer.
