As far as actually locating and identifying the barcode, I like it better 
than oMoby and noggles.
But the hard part with it may be having good light.  I think DigitEyes would 
be better if it had a button in the app to turn the light on, as I can't 
seem to keep the light, or flash, on with my iPhone, so very good light is 
necessary, and maybe that is why people have had trouble with it.  The other 
thing I like about DigitEyes, although I haven't used it yet, is the ability 
to print your own labels and stick them to things, and then label them.
If there is a better one than the three I have mentioned, I'd like to try 
it.
I do use VizWiz, and it is great, I always include a "thank you" with my 
question, as I do appreciate the volunteers doing the reading for me.

bad comments on that app in particular.
