Is there a pocket sized Bluetooth keyboard I can get to go with my Iphone? The
large one I have is great for Ipad but it won't exactly fit in my purse!

I do no people having problems with the IPhone 4 and 4S switching off after
answering a call, then coming back about 10 seconds later. I spoke to Kevin
Chow, a beta tester about this, and it appears to be a known issue that's been
reported for many people running the current operating system, and not limited
to one phone or the other. "They will probably fix it in an update.
It seems to happen randomly. I leave my IPhone on all the time, but it's
pretty easy to reboot the phone or power it down when necessary. There are
really not many differences between the 4 and the 4S as far as functionality.
I've worked with several friends with the 4S and most are very happy. If you
really are concerned about no buttons then get a Bluetooth keyboard, but I've
been rolling without one for over a year now, answering E-mails and texts.
It's a little slow, but it's possible, and you can dictate searches, texts, and
E-mails with Serie if you want.

You can add contacts to the favorites list easily, or do the double tap and
hold thing on the table index on the right side to move directly to the letter
of the alphabet that a specific contact is listed under if you have several
hundred in the phone. I did purchase a battery case called a Power Skin for
some extra battery life so I could get 2 days out of the phone before
recharging.

Lastly, the Apple store is always the best place to buy an IPhone. That's for
sure. They can turn on Voiceover for you, walk you through the set up, and get
you started. Most ATT stores don't even have them in stock, and wouldn't know
Voiceover if it bit them on the butt. You can call 1800myapple for support
questions during the first 3 months, then purchase the Apple Care for $69 for 2
years of support and replacement if there are problems. Don't forget
applevis.com for recommendations for accessible apps, guides, and tutorials.

Since I've been drinking the Apple cool aide now for a year thanks to Andrea
and Jim I may not be the most objective person. But I just spent 2 days with
my friend Kevin and his 4 S looking for cool apps and getting phone envy, so
all I can say to you is go for it. Take the plunge.

Subject: [real-eyes] advice re: purchasing IPhone 4S

I'm getting an IPhone 4S for Christmas--and I'm getting the phone tomorrow--a
bit early. Here's what I need to know from the list:

1. Have any of you been unhappy with your IPhone 4S. If so, why?

2. Do any of you have regrets about switching to IPhone 4S from a standard cell
phone with buttons?

3. If you're an IPhone 4S power user, do you keep your IPhone on most of the
time (my cell phone is hardly ever powered off).

5. Which is best--purchasing the IPhone 4S from Apple and having Apple connect
you up through AT&T or purchasing the phone from the AT&T store?

7. Have any of you had problems with Voice Over not working correctly or
shutting off unexpectedly with IPhone 4S?

Any and all answers to these questions very much appreciated. I'm sure every
one of us can relate to the phone switching jitters and that feeling of "I hope
I'm doing the right thing!"

Thanks,

Kim Morrow
