[real-eyes] Re: Fw: Window-Eyes First with Windows Vista

To be completely objective, version numbers are arbitrary, random, and
meaningless.
Assuming they both started at 1.0, they each have their respective timelines
for putting out releases, the .5-s, the .5.1's, and so on.
For example, this is version 1.0 of my response. I could choose to post
version 1.5 or 2.0, tomorrow, or a year from now!

You know? I never thought I'd say this but, they are being just a bit cocky.
So what! There beta version is ready before JFW is? I mean, come on!
Win-eyes is a beta and they shouldn't say that it is a fully functional
program in my personal opinion. Beta programs do happen to have bugs in
them. I am using a midi program and it is a beta program. I have spoken to
folks at FS and have reported lots of bugs to them. Sorry if I am rambling
on and am probably making no sense. I am saying that I think FS should get a
chance. At least I can say this about Jaws. It is ahead in the numbers game
as apposed to Win-Eyes. JFW is in version 8, where as Win-eyes is only in
version 6? Um? Com on! Am I missing something here?
