After reviewing the Chesterfield County web site concerning temporary
signage and banners and a call to the County, I feel the signs are a no go
for the GBGH.
An ordinance states that only 2 temporary signs are allowed per shopping
center. Those 2 signs are the total for all businesses in the shopping
center. During the holidays this would be crazy trying to coordinate for
each weekend with the other businesses plus the County requires a special
permit for each weekend.
Certainly open for discussion at the next meeting.

We need to do some more research before buying signs. Chesterfield County
has some odd rules about temporary signage and I believe it says that these
real estate style signs are only allowed for real estate companies. We need
to find out what is allowed first. Also, the RC3R logo doesn't really
convey to the casual driver passing by what exactly is being advertised. I
also think any sign should have something saying where to go like "at the
Great Big Greenhouse".
