In 1991 I had never interacted with a PC, and it would be 1996 before
I would actually start learning how to use a computer instead of just
playing edutainment games on school computers... and the first PC my
family got was a Win98 machine... My Older brother had a commodore 64,
but he had left home by the time I was learning how to use a
computer... My Earliest computer lessons took place in a lab with a
mix of old Macintoshes, Apple IIe's, IBMs running DOS, and a single
Win 3.1 machine. It wouldn't be until middle school that I got to use
a Win9x machine, it wasn't until Highschool when I first dabbled in
Linux, and I was in college when I made the transition to being a
full-time Linux user.
