Believe it or not, I findally got around to doing this upgrade, but I'm
having problems getting the .py extension associated with the python
interpretter.
I thought the installer would do this on it's own. but, it didn't.
This is windows 7 64 bit.
So, I tried to do this manually, and can not get it to take.
I can assotiate it with PythonW.exe, but not just with python.exe.
And, PythonW.exe does not do anything.
I take a command prompt to a folder with a .py file in it, type the .py
file name, and press enter, and no output gets generated at all.
Not sure what is going on. but, in any event, does anybody know the meaning
of those two programs, python, and pythonW?
