Hi,
open a folder with .py file, navigate to the said file, press
applications key or shift+f10, use the arrows to reach "open with" sub
menu, there you have the option for choosing default.

I can assotiate it with PythonW.exe, but not just with python.exe.
And, PythonW.exe does not do anything.
I take a command prompt to a folder with a .py file in it, type the .py
file name, and press enter, and no output gets generated at all.
Not sure what is going on. but, in any event, does anybody know the meaning
of those two programs, python, and pythonW?
