Well we gave the ol' college try but no change in the neg. Even tried dish soap. I think this splooge is soluble or removable when first seen before drying and can be removed then via physical means ('tween the fingers) but once dry it's there to stay. One thing I noticed was that the neg appears bronzed via reflected light when dry and somewhat has that look when wet. I hope tmax rs won't do this as I need to run 3 more sheets of this stuff. ________________________________ From: Richard Knoppow <dickburk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: pure-silver@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sun, November 15, 2009 9:04:54 AM Subject: [pure-silver] Re: odd neg ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eric Nelson" <emanmb@xxxxxxxxx> To: <pure-silver@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, November 14, 2009 9:14 PM Subject: [pure-silver] Re: odd neg > Thanks Richard. Watch the negative carefully because the mixture can bleach the image if left too long. -- Richard Knoppow Los Angeles, CA, USA dickburk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
