If you're going to use colored filters regularly, you might run some
tests photographing a MacBeth Color Checker, or something similar. Not
only will colors be attenuated at different rates, but the actual
contrast of the black to white squares will be affected by filters, as
David Kachel pointed out a number of years ago.
