It was 134F when I was there in early May two years ago. I wouldn't think about going in June. Think about how you intend to store your film. Zabriskie was a lot cooler. 'cause it is high.

A few ideas to ponder......

In June, the sky will be clear and there will be low likelihood of clouds.
Any clouds would be welcome.

It will probably be 100 Degrees F in June, or higher. Maybe 110.
Do you really want to be subjected to that warmth during the day?

You shoot first thing at sun up and last thing at sun down. You spend the
rest of the day scouting opportunities, and drinking water. Lots of water.
Gallons of water.

If it will be full moon ( I just checked.... Full moon is on June 18.....
) that offers some more possibilities.

Zabriskie Point is an early morning shoot. You can spend several hours
there. QAnd with it being full moon, it may offer you some really nice
moonlit shots.

Remember that there are mountains on both sides... and that means your
daylight is shorter than you think... which is a good thing because it also
means your very contrasty light will be shorter.

Stay hydrated.

There are few places to eat in Death Valley..... an expensive hotel
restaurant, a café style restaurant or 2. And a store to buy food at. That
is it ( as I remember it).
