The reason I suggested postcards is because there's no need for a large
envelope, gathering cardboard or whatever to protect the print, and the greater
postage. AND I sort of enjoy printing small, but that's just me. And like has
been stated, for people outside the US it can get pretty pricey mailing large,
so how about on this go if we do postcards… Unless that means you have to go
out and buy for the cards.
So I guess the question is really, do you guys have postcard paper for the
darkroom? If you don't, and if you don't want to buy it (because we know that
no darkroom paper is cheap!) Then we can just say print whatever size you want.
You guys who like to print large, are you going to feel slighted if you receive
a small print?
Any ideas for time allowed for a "mail it out by..." date? Let's see if we can
gather some more people to participate. I've never organized one of these
exchanges here so have mercy if I'm awkward, and if you've done it before feel
free to tell me a better way. If you email me your mailing address I will
compile a list to send back to each contributor. And what else am I not
thinking of?

I’d like to participate, but with smaller prints. Mailing out of Ireland can
be expensive.

I think that is individual judgement. I also like large prints but have
made lots of smaller ones that I thought were pleasing. By smaller I mean
5x7 maximum. Again, I think it depends on one's judgement and probably
subject. Some things must be large.

Janet, et al,
I'd prefer larger prints, because i've always thought that anything
smaller than 11 X 14 just isn't worth the trouble of going into the
darkroom. What do others think?

me if we could limit the number to 10. What do you think? Is
anyone willing to take it on? And I think doing a postcard
would simplify it, certainly would be easier to mail out. I'm
willing to do a larger print if that's what you all prefer.
Thoughts?
