Dear Dick,
Being a multicultural agricultural and horticultural society we have a
plethora of new years down here. If you arrange matters right through
religious faith and ethinic origin, you can have 3 or 4 of them throughout
the 365 days and given the run-up and tail-off period for each culture, you
can stay drunk for months. I seem to have lost 1987 and 1988 somewhere.
