I had a Bender 4x5 camera kit. I got it about 95% done (needed to
finish the ground glass frame). By that time I had gotten a Speed
Graphic and didn't want to fiddle with the Bender anymore. I gave it
to a friend. I wasn't impressed with the joinery. Lots of butt
joints with screws. The monorail riders in particular looked like
they would cause trouble.
The Lee Filters Bulldog camera kit looks good. I've seen it at Photo
Plus Expo a few times. It is laster cut from MDF. Pop the pieces out
and glue it together. If I were to buy a camera kit today this would
be the one. Too bad they don't make a 5x7 version.
