I found that drying them in warm to hot air made them curl, however when drying them overnight in just cool air the curl was greatly reduced. (Durst air drier).

Yes, indeed _all_ AGFA films curled terribly. I always bitched at them
but to no avail.

I used to get it from Freestyle. No longer in their catalog. Retro400S
is, but it isn't the same stuff.
I was told by them that it's gone.

I'm glad to hear it's available through you Snoopy. If I find that I
miss it, I will let you know.
It's good stuff, except for the curling problem - which I won't miss.

Cheers,

Elias

Dear Dennis,

no AGFA APX400 is really gone. But Rollei Retro is the same stuff and is
still availble.

Orders offlist please :-)

Nice image and nice tones Elias. Isn't Rollei Retro 400 the same as
Afga 400, and can't you still find that in stores in 35mm?

Thanks all for all your help in getting me started with Kodak XTOL.

Now that I'm two rolls away from being out of Rollei Retro 400, I've
finally found a developer that gives it wide latitude and lets me
shoot it at full speed.

I'm looking forward to my new year of nothing but Tri-X
... except for some HP4+ that Santa gave me, and the Efke sheet film I
use in my Rollei.
I knew I wouldn't be able to stick with one film.
