Because I was originally taught to develop all sheet film in trays, I have
always had no issues doing the sheet film shuffle in the dark. But as mentioned
earlier in the thread it gets a bit difficult shuffling more than 5 or so at a
time. However, it’s very convenient to develop -N,N,+N all at the same time.
Now, I typically develop 4x5 in a Jobo reels and 8x10 in the trays. I shoot a
lot more 4x5 than 8x10 so it’s not an issue having enough sheets to fill the
Jobo tanks. I typically only have a few or hand full of 8x10.
I even use PMK for the Jobo and trays.
That works for me. Your experience may vary.

If you've got the room for it, Jobo processors are great systems.?? I

or various tank systems work just fine and leave a lot of money left
over for film.
Gawd! The CPE-3 system costs about SIX TIMES what I paid for my CPE-2.
