Instead counting takes, what are your most common mistakes? For me it's: #1) Not moving the filters into place before exposing MG paper. #2) Exposing pearl finish RC on the wrong side #3) Not writing exposure data on the back of the print #4) Not dusting the negative well enough, which leads to #5: #5) Not refocusing after opening the head to get at the negative carrier - Beseler 45 & large prints from 35mm: opening the head compresses the lower bellows which moves the lens board down a smidgen unless the lens board is locked. #6) Forgetting to lock the lensboard. == Nicholas O. On rare occasions, when the darkroom gods are kind, only the 1/6th of a sheet I use for my Kodak print scale. On MOST occasions, two or three sheets--sometimes a LOT more.
