There’s 3 ways to trip a 330 shutter. The body mount release, the shutter
release on the shutter and a cable release that screw into the shutter. Have
all three failed. Do any work? Like the shutter release on the shutter?

Actually, I can cock the shutter, but it won't fire when I push the shutter
button. It's as though the shutter mechanism came unattached from the shutter
button link ( I am not a repairman, so I am guessing).

What do you mean by locked? Is the shutter jammed?
The 80mm is similar in design to the Schneider Xenotar.

I have the C330 with two working (80 and 135) lenses and a locked 55mm.
But the lenses are wonderful.
