Hi Chauncey!
Right it's that old. I was under the impression
that the small battery was solely for the finder light,
as that battery failed and the finder light doesn't work.
I should give it another try and obtain the replacemnent
battery....but I'm sure it was working on both scales....
it may have suffered a knock.

Rich, is your analog Pentax old enough that it takes 2 batteries -1 for
high 1 for low? The second battery is hidden in a larger compartment under
the under the first.
