Another possibility is the MOD54 insert for the Paterson tank system. I
have one of the original ones, which I believe is more fragile than the
current production. It does take a little daylight practice to learn how
to load it, and you need to be a bit careful in agitation (gentle
inversions, don't roll - ask me how I know) but once I got it sorted it
gave me evenly developed scratch-free negatives with no streaking. B+H
sells it here in the US, perhaps also Freestyle. It holds 6 sheets.
That said, nowadays I mostly tray develop because I can vary the time for
individual sheets. For extreme minimal agitation development I run a
single sheet in a Nikor 2x120 tank. I haven't used MOD54 or my two Nikor
4x5 tanks for quite some time.
