using memory card

Hello List.
I have a ptr1 player recorder. I want to move away from using cds in this
machine and transfer reading meterial onto a memory card. I have misplaced
the documentation for my ptr1 and wonder if anyone on the list could advise
me as to what type of card I can use and what adapter I will need in order
to use a memory card.
