Dear Penny,

Thank you so very much for your replies. You are so nice to take the time and
trouble to care and to try to help.

Frank said that Memorex disks often gave him trouble, but he had some luck
wetting them down then toweling them dry and re-inserting them. He said then
they sometimes worked. I haven't tried that yet. I bought a pack of ten, and
guess I'm glad I didn't buy more.

Again, thanks much for being so nice!

Bill

Hi, there.
Penny here. I don't own a ptr1 anymore. but I
never had trouble with music cd's except for some
that were colored; Others may have better replies for you.
you want the setting that is not the mp3
setting. It sounds like: E C M 44. does the PTR have that?
Of course, a commercial CD is limited to 80
minutes. but I have found that if i put 80
minutes, or 79:30 that the whole thing will not
be able to be copied from my card over to the CD.
I always used a card to put the stuff on; then I transferred it to a CD.
I hope you'll have much success.
Best,
Penny
