I wish there was a flash only version of the plextalk -----Original Message----- From: ptr1-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ptr1-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Robert Acosta Sent: Thursday, October 06, 2005 11:23 AM To: ptr1-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: clarification about ptr1 status Hi Frank. In the formal announcement Plextor announced that do to some environmental issues proclaimed by an outfit from Europe called ROSE, i believe stating that there was too much lead in PTR1, it was announced that PTR2 would come out soon. I don't intend to chew or drink my PTR1 so i will stick with it for a time. I was hoping that Plextor would make a device allowing us to read DVDs. I understand that IRTI will support the PTR1 and that we can still get upgrades. ----- Original Message ----- From: "frank cuta" <cuta@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ptr1-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, October 06, 2005 5:30 AM Subject: RE: clarification about ptr1 status >I talked to IRTI yesterday and Plextor has just sent them a demo version > of the new unit so hopefully we will be getting some concrete tech > information on it soon.
