clarification about ptr1 status

Hi all,
I'd like to make sure that I'm right about some information before I
disseminate it to my clients. Is the Plextalk being discontinued? If so, how
long will there be any kind of support after the discontinuation? If the
machine isn't being discontinued, is there something else happening?
Somebody please help me strraighten this out.
