there any instances in Books 7-12 where you are given the opportunity to use a
Lantern? Should we
add that you will need a Tinderbox to light the Lantern?
Lantern may be used in book 7 sect. 16, 107, 258 and 348, book 8 sect.194, book
9 sect. 94, 171, 197, 282, 313 and 349, book 10 sect. 256,
book 11 sect. 126 and 260. There is no use of lantern in book 12.
The problem is, Tinderbox could be found only in book 1 (then lost in book 2,
after sea crash), then in book 4 (Maaken mines), in book 5 (before
baga-darooz), in book 6 (starting equipment) and in book 9 (before entering
Cauldron). And is lost after book 7...
