Actually, in KOTOR, you were ALREADY a fallen jedi.  Got to love the abuse of 
amnesia in movies and games.  

Running around and shooting things is the description of every game that 
includes guns, right?

Lightsabers should be included with EVERYTHING.  Come on scientists, why don't 
we have lightsabers now?  And where is the flying car?!  Get working on it.
